Our previous name was Regional Knowledge Hub and WHO Collaborating Centre for HIV surveillance and we have been working under the supervision of WHO in recent years. This year we applied for national licenses through the Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME) of Iran. And now we work as a WHOCC and a national research center simultaneously in the field of public health and surveillance. Hence our name has been changed to “HIV/STI Surveillance Research Center, and WHO Collaborating Center for HIV Surveillance”.
